Sustainability isn't a section of our business — it's the whole reason Organic Blank exists. We only offer apparel made from organic and recycled materials, backed by independent certifications. Here's what that means in practice.

Conscious materials

Organic cotton. Our knitwear is made with 100% organic cotton — grown from non-GMO seeds, without chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. That keeps harmful chemicals out of the soil, rivers, and lakes, and protects the health and livelihoods of the farming communities that grow it. Globally, only around 1.4% of all cotton produced is organic, so this is a deliberate, harder choice — not the default.

Recycled polyester. Our fleece and sweatshirts blend organic cotton with recycled polyester made from post-consumer PET bottles. Depending on the style, it takes roughly 38 to 95 recycled plastic bottles to make a single garment — plastic that gets a second life instead of ending up in a landfill or the ocean.

Traceability, not just labels

It's easy to say "eco-friendly." We prefer proof. The products we offer are backed by supply-chain traceability — from raw material to finished garment — verified by independent bodies rather than self-reported claims. That's the standard we hold every product to before it earns a place in our catalog.

The certifications behind our products

• GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) — the leading worldwide standard for organic textiles, covering both ecological and social criteria. It guarantees cotton is organically grown without GMO seeds or hazardous chemicals, and ensures traceability at every stage of production.
• OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — one of the world's best-known standards for testing textiles for harmful substances. It confirms that every component of a product has been tested and is safe for human use.
• Fair Wear Foundation — an independent organization working to improve labor conditions in garment factories through third-party audits and continuous monitoring.
• Textile Exchange — a global non-profit driving the shift toward preferred, more responsibly sourced fibers across the industry.
